A firing tool… therapy…

If executive coaching is being considered for firing or therapy of some sort, it is not coaching that is needed. However there can be times during the coaching process when professional therapy needs rather than coaching becomes apparent.

When this happens, I see it as the coach's responsibility to suggest that they seek the appropriate professional help or revise their coaching expectations.
